Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga
Ideal for students of every level, Yin Yoga embraces the Taoist principles of Yin: passive, calm, surrender. Yin focuses on extending and stretching the joints and connective tissue of your hips, pelvis, lower back and knees.  Postures are typically held for 3-10 minutes per side in order to lengthen the connective tissue that surrounds the joints and increase its elasticity. Slow, passive poses, combined with meditation and relaxation techniques make Yin Yoga a calming way to balance your busy day.
